  • 🔹 Innovation and Multi-Agency Collaboration: The Future of UK Mental Health Services 🔹 Last week, our CEO, Dr Melinda R., joined an insightful panel discussion hosted by Curia Health Care and Life Sciences Research Group. The conversation highlighted a pressing issue: too many people are waiting far too long for mental health support. With waiting lists for neurodevelopmental assessments reaching 20 years in some areas, the system needs urgent reform. The solution? Collaboration, innovation, and technology adoption. 💡 At Psyomics, we’re already seeing the power of technology in reducing wait times. Our platform is supporting 5 million people across NHS mental health trusts—streamlining patient assessments and freeing clinicians to focus on care, not admin. In Hertfordshire, this approach has helped cut Referral To Treatment times from 42 days to just 29 days. Key takeaways from the event: ✅ Multi-agency collaboration is essential to delivering effective, early intervention. ✅ Policy change is needed to ensure the NHS can adopt and scale these innovations. This includes Regulators & Frameworks who will become blockers if not designed at their core to embrace new innovation and emerging technology. ✅ Digital Transformation needs to be a regular and ongoing part of clinical practice & clinicians lives. The UK has a real opportunity to lead in mental health innovation, but we must act now. As Preet Kaur Gill MP urged, it’s time to feed these ideas into policymaking to shape the future of mental healthcare. Let’s keep the conversation going. How can we drive change together? 💬 #MentalHealthInnovation #HealthcareTechnology #NHSTransformation #MentalHealthMatters
