  • “It's not about replacing a prosthetist’s expertise, but providing them with the data, insights, and efficiencies they need to succeed." Our CEO Joshua Steer recently featured on The Prosthetics and Orthotics Podcast! In conversation with Brent Wright and Joris Peels, Josh shared his insights on the evolving role of digital tools in O&P, and how data-driven tools can retain and enhance clinical knowledge while improving patient outcomes. • As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on an extraordinary year of progress and achievement at Radii. In close collaboration with our partners and the clinicians using our software, we’ve reached key milestones in enabling clinicians to deliver well-fitted sockets and life-changing care to their patients. From fitting sockets, achieving ISO13485 certification, and showcasing riiForm at global conferences, none of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our partners, clinicians, and fellow industry professionals. Your trust and collaboration have been instrumental in helping us achieve these milestones. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re more motivated than ever to continue advancing prosthetic and orthotic care. Until then, from all of us at Radii, we wish you a wonderful holiday season!

  • Our CEO and founder, Joshua Steer, shared his first-hand experience growing our company from an academic research project to a global provider of clinical software. We've come a long way - you can read below about what we've learned on the journey!

As Radii Devices continues to scale, we've been taking on extra hands to help meet our mission. We're delighted to introduce the newest member of our clinical success team - meet Maggie! A Masters student and a Fulbright Scholar studying Amputation and Prosthetic Rehabilitation at the University of Southampton, Maggie is part of a multidisciplinary group studying a patient's journey pre-amputation through to prosthetic rehabilitation. Maggie joined us over the summer as an intern to learn more about the industrial side of O&P practice. We've really benefitted from her shared enthusiasm for our mission to make best-in-class prosthetic care more accessible to all. Her fresh perspective as a researcher, as a quality engineer in industry, and time volunteering as a Medical Device Technician with EWH has been invaluable as we roll out our software, riiForm, to more and more clinics. Whether it's developing training materials, software testing, helping in clinician training sessions, or even supporting us in the continuous development of our regulatory processes, she's made a huge impact. You can learn more about our growing team and the research that underpins everything we do at our website, linked below:

Had a great time at CDFAM - Computational Design Symposium with Nathan Shirley presenting the work that Radii Devices and HP 3D Printing are collaborating on to scale-up data-driven digital workflows for 3DP prosthetic sockets. The conference in New York was a huge inspiration to see how those in other fields, from space to modelling biological structures, are pushing the boundaries in Computational Design. Duann Scott put together an awesome line-up full of variety, innovation, and sometimes even awe. You can listen to our presentation here: https://lnkd.in/eRSjNDNS
