  • Another fantastic and thought-provoking two days at the eoa Conference this year in Telford! The event brought together employee-owned businesses from across a range of categories in the UK. The purpose was to explore and learn how we can all build stronger, more sustainable, inclusive, and transparent workplaces. Sessions covered a range of topics, from leadership and innovation to governance and fostering a culture of shared responsibility. We left feeling inspired and full of ideas to bring back to the team at RadioWorks Group. A huge thank you to the EOA for organising such a valuable experience. We are already looking forward to next year!

    In celebration of Black History Month, we held an open and honest panel discussion focused on this year's theme: reclaiming the narrative. Our expert panel of inspiring speakers shared their experiences and insight on the importance of ownership in storytelling. Citing how we can create comfort in the discomfort of change through effective allyship and by working in an industry with influence, we can all contribute to reclaiming the black narrative in an authentic way.   A huge thank you to our panellists, Dionne M., Thought Leader and Change Maker at AmplifiedKin, Sheryl Agyemang, Marketing and Media Professional and Natalie Crossgell, Business Director at RadioWorks Group.   An enormously informative panel discussion, led by our AV Director, Deb Mitra.   Massive thanks, for helping to organise the event, go to our Roots Community - an internal, employee-led community which works to champion ethnic inclusivity and diversity at Medialab, led by Maddy Buchanan, Account Director and Community Leader of Roots.   Look out for our blog summarising the panel discussion 👀   #BlackHistoryMonth #BHM2024

  • Another RAJAR, more great news for Commercial audio! Listening to commercial radio on connected devices now makes up 32.8% of all commercial listening. Which is up 16.3% year on year! Plus - all commercial radio listening is up year on year from 39.2 million in Q3 2023 to 40.1 million.   • The MIDAS Summer 2024 Report was released today. Lots of exciting nuggets in there! The headline for us was that the average adult now listens to 17 hours of connected audio a week, which has increased 6% since the last MIDAS wave (Spring 2024) and increased by 13% since Summer 2022!!!     This week's guest, 🧙🏽♀️ Sabrina Chevannes (EMBA, CMktr) gave up on a career in medicine to dedicate herself to being an entrepreneur. She's the Founder of N0BS agency, hosts two podcasts of her own, and this year launched a members club for those who believe in the mantra of No Bullsh*t. This is probably the first LDTRT episode when one of the keywords has been love, and its testament to the enthusiasm that Sabrina pours into her work, and the joy that she takes from her success.
