Building on the successful rollout of Spectra QEST field testing capabilities across all Igne sites in Q3 2024, we are pleased to announce that Ryan Hobson and his team in Barnsley are the first in the UK - and globally - to use the latest Spectra QEST concrete functionalities. Ryan's field technicians are now leveraging tablets to efficiently capture all relevant data for concrete work directly on-site (as you can see). This streamlined approach has significantly improved the efficiency of administrative tasks and reporting processes, enhancing overall productivity. Training for field technicians at our Daventry, Bellshill, and Newcastle sites is already underway, ensuring they can also benefit from these advancements in the coming days. Looking ahead to 2025, we are planning the rollout of Spectra QEST laboratory functionalities across all Igne sites. This next phase will further optimise processes, boost productivity, and elevate reporting capabilities to better serve our clients. This initiative reflects Igne's commitment to investing in cutting-edge technologies, driving innovation, and delivering tangible benefits to our clients by staying at the forefront of industry advancements. 2024 has been a year of incredible highs and a very difficult low for all of us at Igne. We’ve seen incredible collaboration, business growth, and professional success, but we also faced the deep loss of our colleague, Jaymie Hurst, to cancer. Jaymie’s memory will always remind us of the importance of compassion and giving back; so this Christmas, we wanted to spread joy to those who dedicate themselves to helping others. We gifted pairs of hospitality football tickets to a range of charities and organisations including Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool, Local Solutions (a carers centre) and Willowbrook Hospice. Some of these tickets were raffled off to raise funds, some were given to staff and the families they support. All brought smiles to those who need them most - as you can see from some of the recipients below, who were all smiles when our Regional Manager for the North West, Dan Susnik handed out tickets to Everton v Wolves. We wish our colleagues and clients, suppliers and followers a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thank you to everyone who has worked with us and supported us. Here’s to 2025 and all it may bring.
