We believe in exceptional small charities

About us

In the corporate world, great ideas are rewarded. Funds quickly flow to the most effective companies. In the charity sector that isn’t always the case. The big names with big budgets receive the lion’s share of income, irrespective of their effectiveness. At Raise Your Hands we find and select small charities with proven impact. We work with companies and people who want a different experience of giving and confidence that funds will be well spent. We introduce them to a portfolio of organisations they wouldn’t find otherwise. Then we provide experiences of giving that are something out of the ordinary. Launched in 2015, to date we have raised over £1.6m for our selected charity partners. Raise Your Hands is a charity (CIO) registered in England & Wales, charity no. 1174956.

  • Let's talk about ending the year on a high... ...in 2024 we have donated more than half a million pounds to our charities! This is a magnificent milestone for us and it couldn't have been achieved without our spectacular community of supporters - donors, fundraisers, Dot Impact partners, Midnight Madness players, and trustees - embracing the shared belief that in order for small children's charities to thrive and make the greatest impact on young lives, they need a champion. So, on behalf of everyone at Raise Your Hands and all the incredible charities we fight for, thank you and Merry Christmas.

  • 🙌 Christmas joy shout out to Marshall Wace 🙌 Last week the wonderful team took part in their fourth consecutive year's gift wrapping event for Chiva - the only charity in the UK supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people living with HIV. It was a brilliant turn out, with 100 presents gifted; the perfect way to end 2024's Dot Impact company volunteering events.    Marshall Wace - what a way to wrap and roll!   If you want to do something incredible for your employees and help vulnerable children in the UK in 2025, contact us to find out more about our Dot Impact programme. #socialimpact #employeevolunteering #smallcharity

  • A brilliant team of volunteers from Lumyna recently spent an evening supporting mums and young children at Happy Baby Community as part of our Dot Impact programme. The team put together boxes of basic items to support women who have fled violence or trafficking and are seeking protection in the UK while pregnant or caring for their babies. We love to create events like these for our charities and Dot Impact partners. Thank you Team Lumyna! #dotimpact #smallcharities #socialimpact

  • Staff volunteers at MV Credit recently put their lunch break to good use by wrapping Christmas presents for children being supported by Jessie May – a charity that provides specialist nursing care for terminally ill children in their own homes. This volunteering event is just one of several organised throughout the year for our Dot Impact companies. We’d like to extend a huge thanks to everyone on the MV Credit team who took part, we know that the gifts brought a huge smile to the faces of all the children.
