Today colleagues from the North East Chamber of Commerce membership, marketing, events, international, finance and senior leadership team all met at Ramside Hall for our final (how?!) team meeting of the year. On arrival we were all blown away by the enormous Christmas tree which got us all feeling festive, yes even Michael Dickinson. We talked about some genuinely exciting, dare I say transformational ideas and plans for our members in 2025 and beyond. Sworn to secrecy for now 🤐 Watch this space... We were superbly looked after by the team at Ramside, using their green room for our meeting, starting with some bacon sandwiches (essential brain food 🧠 🥓) Following some more exciting updates and discussion we enjoyed an incredible lunch at their newly refurbished Charcoa restaurant. A huge thanks to Alisha Greenwood, Cheryl Flowers for accommodating us at short notice. I was lucky to interview her on stage & you could hear a pin drop. She was inspirational. - Gavin Foster & Mike Hughes are the Starsky and Hutch of local papers! They seriously are champion champions of business in the region. Quality journalists providing the very best journalism! - Another fantastic double act, the Cagney and Lacey of event planning, Joanne Ellerton & Cathy Thompson of Newsquest Media Group . Wish I worked with you more.
