We're pleased to announce scientist, presenter, writer and social media phenomenon, Big Manny, has become our first Childline Ambassador 🙌 Manny will be working with our service Childline to show young people they can achieve whatever they set their mind to! "I've got a close connection with the cause, because I've seen it first person how young people can struggle, and they don't get help. I want to do as much as I can to make sure that they do get help when they need it." - Big Manny. Childline is our free service for children and young people aged under 19 - there whenever they need support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 💙 Image description: Big Manny is facing the camera smiling and holding up a sign that reads, 'Childline, online, on the phone, anytime. It’s Black History Month! This year’s theme is ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ and focuses on sharing stories. Whether you read a book about inspiring people from Black History or share stories through the meals you make with your little one, you can help children embrace and celebrate themselves and those around them 💚 Thank you @Danielle_Rhoda for this beautiful illustration 🎨 Image description: An illustration of a parent holding up a bowl of homemade food to their child. The child is reaching out with an excited expression. From the bowl a cloud of drawings represent moments from Black History, including music, freedom and love. #BlackHistoryMonth #NSPCCParenting
