Celebrating International Day for Women & Girls in Science🎉👩🔬 Our STEM initiatives have soared over the past 12 months, with RED staff taking time out to visit thousands of children and young people in the UK an abroad to teach them all about engineering. In the past 12 months, our STEM team have achieved: 🗺️Visited 7,900 students worldwide, aged 5-18 🤝Supported 23 events 🏫15 different schools & organisations Women in RED lead, Emily Natasha Stagg, BEng AMIMechE, commented: “We’re committed to creating impactful learning experiences for young people, particularly women and girls, to inspire the next generation of engineers.” Global STEM Coordinator, Diana Kenny, added: “Investing in STEM activities is vital to the future of our industry, and it’s up to us to lay the groundwork for diversity in traditional industries like engineering.” #InternationalDayforWomenandGirlsinScience #WomeninSTEM #STEMCareers #TeamRED
