This year, Right Directions and Quest delivered a total 2550 on-site audits and assessments! We’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve accomplished this year, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our fantastic team whose hard work made it all happen. Thank you to all of our clients for supporting us. We really hope we have made a difference. Our team are now taking a well-deserved break between 24th December and 1st January. Henry covered a lot with the team, from working through their EOP (emergency operations plan) and PSOP (pool safety operating procedure), to introducing them to STITCH, our risk assessment and accident reporting platform. A productive day to help the centre stay safe and well-prepared into the New Year! Throughout December, Andi has visited multiple Life Leisure sites delivering H&S audits to provide support and ensure the sites are compliant following their recent refurbs. It was great to see the commitment to the development of the health and safety processes on-site, and the improvements that had been made since we last saw them! 🎄On the seventh day of Christmas, Right Directions gave Activate O2 (We Do Play) a Legionella Risk Assessment! Activate O2 is the world’s first active gaming facility, incorporating a blend of problem-solving and physical activity at the same time. It's a really exciting new venue so we're very pleased to be part of the mobilisation process and support the team in the early stages. As you can tell from the video, it was still a building site when we visited! On the sixth day of Christmas, Right Directions provided 6 handy tips/reminders for facilities before the Christmas break... Communication and customer engagement: • Holiday hours: clearly communicate your opening and closing times through your website, social media, email newsletters, and on-site posters. • Schedule updates: inform customers of any changes to class schedules, pool times, or activity bookings. • Automated messages: set up out-of-office or holiday-specific auto-replies for emails and social media queries. Facility management: • Holiday rotas: confirm and share staff schedules, including who is on call in case of emergencies. • Utilities: review energy usage and adjust heating, lighting, and other utilities for low-traffic periods to save costs. • Security: ensure all locks, alarms, and CCTV systems are in working order.
