Last week, our Trade Sales Manager, Derek, suited up for a night of celebration at the Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards in Glasgow, honouring Scotland’s world-renowned hospitality scene. On Monday, we hosted our inaugural Trade Show at the Voodoo Rooms, showcasing 25 exceptional suppliers who exhibited a remarkable selection of spirits and liqueurs. We’d like to extend special thanks to all the trade customers and suppliers who came along to support the event, it was brilliant to see such a big turn out! A big shoutout to the The Voodoo Rooms for the fantastic venue!

Introducing Project 1927 by James Eadie Ltd – a remarkable journey through the history and future of whisky distillation, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it. In collaboration with six of Scotland’s most innovative distilleries, James Eadie has revived nearly forgotten 1920s distillation techniques, as detailed in the publication "The Distillation of Whisky 1927-31." The result is a ground-breaking whisky collection that brings these historic methods back to life. You can now experience these historic spirits as each distillery’s unique new make spirit has been released in a special collection, marking the beginning of their journey to becoming whisky. We are proud to be the exclusive retailer of these spirits which you can now purchase on the Royal Mile Whiskies website. As part of this project, the Royal Mile Whiskies team produced six captivating interviews with the participating distillers, led by Dave Broom and Alan Winchester at Holyrood Distillery. Meet the RMW Trade Team! Here’s some of our behind the scenes team who make sure your orders run smoothly and your bars are stocked with the best spirits around. From left to right, Derek Bremner (Derek is always on hand to support our clients out West, ensuring the best service every step of the way), Duggie Liddle (if you're a long-time client, you likely know Duggie as our go-to guy on the ground and for his endless passion and knowledge about our industry) and Fraser Smith (Our Trade Co-ordinator, Fraser keeps things running behind the scenes - managing Trade Portal content and working with our Purchasing and Marketing teams to quickly address any needs that arise). This photo was taken at our Drinkmonger Spirits Festival earlier this year, and since then we’re delighted to have welcomed Ross Mitchell to our growing team in his role as Trade Sales for Edinburgh. They will be at the Voodoo Rooms event and will be on hand to help with any Edinburgh drinks needs. Our Head of Trade Stuart will also be at this event, and will be delighted to see you there. Featuring over 50 stands from new distilleries to brilliant independent bottlers and celebrated producers, Whisky Fringe offers the chance to try some of the best whiskies from around the world and speak to the people that craft them. This year, we’ve added even more fun and unique experiences.
