Our aims are to promote fun, freedom and independence; support people to enjoy an active social life, help people reach their sporting potential and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Jigsaw Link provides a one to one befriending service for people over the age of 50 who are disabled, or have an age related condition, and live in the Borough of Bury. We also offer a weekly luncheon club and social outings throughout the year as well as an Older People’s Active Living Programme. https://lnkd.in/edZsFczv

🎄 12 charities of Christmas Day 9 🎄 The charity for day 9 is simply divine Framework Charity are a multiple partner with both Sheffield races, Nottingham 10K and Lincoln under their belts “Operating across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Sheffield, Framework Charity provides support services across housing, health and employment for people facing homelessness, mental health and substance use challenges.   Each year, we empower more than 18,000 people to achieve a better, independent future regardless of their past or the challenges they may face.   Our services provide a safety net and a platform for real and lasting change, and our work is vital in giving people the opportunity to live a fulfilled life. The reasons why people become homeless are complex and every person will have their own story.
