Supporting Scotland's landlords and letting agents

About us

The Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL) is a membership organisation representing the interests of all landlords, letting agents and housing associations throughout Scotland. Letting agents are directly represented via our Council of Letting Agents policy group. Our members range from individual landlords letting single properties through to agents managing large portfolios on behalf of their clients. We aim to improve standards in the Private Rented Sector by providing comprehensive advice, training and support for every aspect of letting property in Scotland. We support those letting in Scotland, ensuring that best practice is promoted and the views of our members are heard, by providing: ★ Unique Scots law letting advice line ★ Downloadable templates and factsheets on our website ★ Access to discounted training with Landlord Accreditation Scotland (LAS) ★ Local branch meetings throughout Scotland ★ Regular email updates direct to your inbox ★ Subscription to Landlord Focus magazine ★ Annual conference and exhibition ★ Lobbying of Holyrood and Westminster – representing your interests ★ Member deals on goods and services The more landlords that join SAL, the louder our voice. Landlord membership is £125 per year (£115 when paying by direct debit) and SAL letting agent membership is £450 per year (£390 when paying by direct debit).
