Tonight at the Commonwealth Games Scotland Awards in partnership with sportscotland, Scottish Volleyball Indoor Performance and Coaching Manager and National Team Head Coach Alastair Jack is nominated for the prestigious Coach of the Year Award against an Olympic medalist coach and a Paralympic champion coach. Ally was shortlisted due to his game-changing work with the Scotland U20 Men and their CEV - Confédération Européenne de Volleyball European Championships adventure as well as for his work leading on the Tartan Talent programme. Hear from Holly, Roshni, Antonina, Jack, and Sam on what the Tartan Talent programme means to them and why Ally's work has had such an impact on them. This rebranding of the former Scottish Volleyball District Leagues aims to make volleyball more accessible and enjoyable for players across Scotland. Scottish Volleyball is excited about this new chapter and the opportunity it presents to grow the sport across Scotland. With the Local Leagues, we aim to foster a vibrant community of volleyball enthusiasts and provide a platform for competitive and recreational play.
