Update for Fish & Shellfish Imports to Great Britain Starting 1st November 2024, new SPS controls apply to fish and shellfish landed in the EU and transported to Great Britain. Key points: ✅ GB Goods Status: Fish/shellfish caught by UK vessels, directly landed in the EU, and intended for GB without entering EU customs are considered GB goods if unprocessed or only primary processed. ⚠️Entry via GVMS Ports: No Export Health Certificate or IPAFFS notification needed. T1 customs authorisation required. ⚠️Entry via Non-GVMS Ports: IPAFFS notification required (low-risk), no Export Health Certificate. T1 customs authorisation required.
