ONE THING ALL RECRUITERS CAN AGREE ON …businesses ROUTINELY underestimate the cost of hiring. Non specialists often think it's just the cost of a job ad—a few hundred quid on job board. But we recruiters need to calculate the TRUE COST, which is the sum of every asset and resource spent on the activity of hiring. This includes: 1️⃣ Payroll for Talent Acquisition team 2️⃣ ATS (core platform) 3️⃣ LinkedIn Recruiter Licenses (yes we cannot yet do without!) 4️⃣ Sourcing tools 5️⃣ Advertising costs 6️⃣ Assessment tools 7️⃣ Interview scheduling tools 8️⃣ Interview note taking tools 9️⃣ Background checking tools 🔟 Chatbot implementation 1️⃣1️⃣ Candidate experience survey tools And let’s not forget time costs, which can be just as significant.
