  • We are proud to partner with Trade Finance Global (TFG) for their Women in Trade, Treasury & Payments 2025 event

🎄 What was the best Christmas gift you ever received? No child should go without a gift this Christmas. But for many families, a gift is a luxury they cannot afford. ☃️ That’s why we are proud to announce that Sebby's Corner will be TFG’s official charity partner, at our Women in Trade, Treasury & Payments 2025 event! 💖  Sebby’s Corner provides essentials to vulnerable families and individuals in need. These items range from baby supplies and toiletries to school equipment and winter clothing. But during the festive season, Sebby’s Corner recognises gifts as essentials too, turning their warehouse into a ‘shop front’ to give families the experience of selecting and buying a present for their loved ones - a level of empowerment we take for granted. 🤝 These measures uplift marginalised groups in our community, aligning with TFG’s mission of a more inclusive future for women. Sebby’s Corner will be represented during the conference, taking place on 27 February 2025, giving attendees the opportunity to hear about how to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

  • We did it! 🙌 Over the past three weeks, our Christmas grotto has been in full swing. More than 4,000 toys have been given out during this period (not including the thousand plus Pokémon toys we distributed to various charities). Our hearts are full knowing we’ve been able to bring joy to so many children for the festive season. This was our goal, and we couldn’t have achieved it without an amazing community of supporters: ✨ Our regular, dedicated #volunteers who show up time and again with passion and energy. ✨The hard working referral partners, who care and go above and beyond for the families they support ✨ The incredible corporate teams that joined us this week: Cashflows, Brown & Brown Insurance, Collyer Bristow, Medik8 and MasterMac Surfacing Ltd - your contributions have made all the difference 💙 ✨ Our generous toy donors who provided vital support this week, including Wilberforce Chambers, Edge Grove School, Hodge Jones & Allen, Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet, GIFT and Mitzvah Day. We are so grateful to every single one of you for helping us ensure that #nochildgoeswithout, especially at Christmas. While we’ve had to slightly reduce our service for general referrals during this time, Sebby's Corner HQ will resume normal operations in the New Year. Thank you to our incredible community for making this festive season brighter for so many. The hub will be closing for the festive break on Monday, 23 December and re-opening Thursday, 2 January 2025 Bianca Sakol MBE Jocelyn Shein Marguerite Bunt (nee Cohen) Emma Parker Katie Neligan Shelley Berkley

  • 🌟 Mega Meta Appreciation Post 🌟 A huge thank you to Meta for hosting us in their London office today! Your team went above and beyond by packing an incredible 240 toiletry bundles for babies and children, as well as donating new toys for our Christmas grotto. 🎁 Special shoutout to @Hannah Jepson at Meta for perfectly organising an amazing morning 💙 Emma Parker and Jocelyn Shein had the privilege of presenting to Meta’s international marketing guru’s. • Week one of our Christmas grotto is complete, and what a busy, heartwarming, and wonderful start to the festive season at Sebby’s Corner it has been! 🎄 🎁 Over 1,000 brand-new toys have been distributed to families in need, spreading joy and festive cheer to those who need it most. We’ve welcomed both familiar and new faces to the grotto so far, the cost of living crisis is still very much affecting many but we are united by the same mission…to bring smiles to children during this special time of year. None of this would have been possible without our incredible #volunteers and the fantastic corporate teams who joined us each day. From keeping the grotto stocked to packing general referrals and supporting visiting families, your hard work has been invaluable. A huge thank you to Savills, Medik8 , Mastercard, In Kind Direct, Bonya, Sky and Goldman Sachs for your generous toy donations and for spending a day with us. Your ongoing support means so much. The Sebby’s team also got a treat with a private screening of the new #wicked movie at Sky Studios 💚🩷 There’s still plenty of time left to support our Christmas grotto through our online shop https://lnkd.in/eMK6-2Ek Here’s to week two—starting Monday 💪

  • Special words from our CEO and founder Bianca Sakol MBE as our Christmas grotto begins on Monday. The team have been working so hard at Sebby’s Corner HQ but we simply couldn’t do it without the support of our charity partners and networks (including our amazing hub leaders and volunteers) Bianca speaks from the heart so if you have a minute or two, take a quick read…

As we get ready to welcome families on Monday, I want to try and illustrate how important and valuable our corporate partners and networks are. It's because of them, we can create our Christmas Grotto where we'll be giving out over 3,000 toys and gifts in the coming weeks. Soho House & Co, Medik8, Sol de Janeiro - these brilliant companies all donated gift in kind stock to fill the Grotto. How lucky we are to be able to offer our teens the latest products from Cowshed and of course the infamous Cheirosa 62 Perfume! Hasbro and KidsOut also sent over pallets and pallets of toys so our younger beneficiaries can receive all sorts of Marvel, Pokemon and Peppa Pig goodies. Our Community Champions Donna at Morrisons Borehamwood and Emma at Tesco Borehamwood have been busy collecting toys for us in store. Dunelm Barnet chose us to be the recipients of their Delivering Joy campaign (check it out on TikTok if you haven't already!) and today we collected trolleys full of beautiful gifts. Plus all the other epic corporate teams holding collections of toys in their offices (Goldman Sachs, Collyer Bristow, Medik8, Albanwise Insurance Services, Cashflows to name but a few!) A special mention to Greenergy who went out and bought us all the advent calendars we needed when our request to Cadbury was turned down. ❤️ Mastercard, MasterMac Surfacing Ltd and Goldman Sachs have all created Amazon wishlists for us which have been shared around their offices and we're receiving daily visits from the Amazon delivery drivers thanks to these brilliant teams. Last and by no means least, we've had corporate volunteer teams in every day for the past two weeks and this continues until we close the Grotto at the end of December. There are far too many teams to mention but there is absolutely no way we could run Christmas without you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and shout out to the amazing Jocelyn Shein who has been coordinating all these volunteering days - we're now fully booked for corporate volunteering days for the entirety of Christmas!) If you've got FOMO, or this post has made you feel sufficiently guilty for not getting involved 😂, it's not too late! You can still help us transform Christmas for the vulnerable children we support. It could be as simple as donating old or leftover stock, holding a toy collection in your office, creating an Amazon wishlist to share around your company, or even just buying a few gifts from our Christmas virtual shop page instead of doing Secret Santa/sending Christmas cards to your clients: https://lnkd.in/drHwQvSK If you'd like to see what Christmas at Sebby's Corner looks like, have a watch of the video on the link above (thanks to Golden Ticket Productions ltd). Thank you to every single person who has donated, volunteered and supported us this Christmas - we couldn't do it without you. 🎄🎁🎅

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Lorraine's Big Baby Bank Appeal, a partnership with ITV's Lorraine, Morrisons supermarkets and the Baby Bank Alliance. The partnership will raise much needed awareness of baby banks and donations of essential items for the UK's baby banks, with dedicated donation points in 497 Morrisons stores.   As a recent new grandmother, Lorraine is passionate to ensure that all babies have the best possible start in life. At the Baby Bank Alliance we support and advocate for the UK's 300+ baby banks, to ensure babies and children have the essentials they need to thrive.   Lorraine’s Baby Bank Appeal will run on air for 2 weeks, shining a spotlight on the incredible work of baby banks, sharing stories from the baby bank community and the families they support, and encouraging viewers to donate essential items at their local Morrisons store.   Morrisons will pass the donations to local baby banks . The appeal is asking for donations of new packs of nappies, wipes, bottles and teats and toiletries for both new mums and babies.   We are so grateful to the team at ITV's Lorraine and Morrisons for helping to make this happen. if you would like to support, please watch Lorraine at 9am every week day and and visit your local Morrisons store to make a donation.
