As we get ready to welcome families on Monday, I want to try and illustrate how important and valuable our corporate partners and networks are. It's because of them, we can create our Christmas Grotto where we'll be giving out over 3,000 toys and gifts in the coming weeks.
Soho House & Co, Medik8, Sol de Janeiro - these brilliant companies all donated gift in kind stock to fill the Grotto. How lucky we are to be able to offer our teens the latest products from Cowshed and of course the infamous Cheirosa 62 Perfume! Hasbro and KidsOut also sent over pallets and pallets of toys so our younger beneficiaries can receive all sorts of Marvel, Pokemon and Peppa Pig goodies.
Our Community Champions Donna at Morrisons Borehamwood and Emma at Tesco Borehamwood have been busy collecting toys for us in store. Dunelm Barnet chose us to be the recipients of their Delivering Joy campaign (check it out on TikTok if you haven't already!) and today we collected trolleys full of beautiful gifts. Plus all the other epic corporate teams holding collections of toys in their offices (Goldman Sachs, Collyer Bristow, Medik8, Albanwise Insurance Services, Cashflows to name but a few!)
A special mention to Greenergy who went out and bought us all the advent calendars we needed when our request to Cadbury was turned down. ❤️
Mastercard, MasterMac Surfacing Ltd and Goldman Sachs have all created Amazon wishlists for us which have been shared around their offices and we're receiving daily visits from the Amazon delivery drivers thanks to these brilliant teams.
Last and by no means least, we've had corporate volunteer teams in every day for the past two weeks and this continues until we close the Grotto at the end of December. There are far too many teams to mention but there is absolutely no way we could run Christmas without you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and shout out to the amazing Jocelyn Shein who has been coordinating all these volunteering days - we're now fully booked for corporate volunteering days for the entirety of Christmas!)
If you've got FOMO, or this post has made you feel sufficiently guilty for not getting involved 😂, it's not too late! You can still help us transform Christmas for the vulnerable children we support.
It could be as simple as donating old or leftover stock, holding a toy collection in your office, creating an Amazon wishlist to share around your company, or even just buying a few gifts from our Christmas virtual shop page instead of doing Secret Santa/sending Christmas cards to your clients:

Thank you to every single person who has donated, volunteered and supported us this Christmas - we couldn't do it without you. 🎄🎁🎅
