What does meaningful progress in environmental sustainability look like? At SEGRO plc, Championing low-carbon growth is a key priority. In 2024, we made significant strides, reducing carbon emissions, expanding our renewable energy capacity and enhancing energy efficiency across our developments.   One standout example is our BREEAM Outstanding refurbishment at 2 Auriol Drive in Greenford, London, led by my colleague Oliver Werby. This project highlights how we're pushing the boundaries of sustainability and supporting our customers in achieving their sustainability goals.   I dive deeper into our progress in this video. Inspiring the next generation... Today, Robert Vaughan and I delivered a workshop to 30 bright young people at Edmonton County School, in partnership with SEGRO plc’s London #CommunityInvestment partner, Spark! We explored the essential skills needed to thrive in the workplace, including communication, creative problem-solving, self-management and interpersonal skills. We also introduced students to the world of industrial and logistics, discussing what the sector involves and the wide range of career opportunities available. To bring this to life, we shared our own career journeys to highlight the different paths into the sector. A huge thank you to Rochelle L., Omba Okandju at Spark, as well as Edmonton County School for hosting us.

Delivering Results, Driving Growth – Our Year in Review. Today, we delivered our Full Year Results for 2024. Our proactive approach and improving investment market conditions helped deliver an increase in our portfolio value. We signed £91 million of new rent through a busy year of leasing activity, capturing a significant amount of the reversion embedded in our portfolio, actively managing our assets to create additional value and executing on our profitable development programme. We’ve also acquired some great estates to add to our portfolio, all of which offer significant growth potential. We are confident in our ability to deliver further development-led growth and are excited about the exceptional value creation opportunity that we have in our 2.3GW data centre pipeline. It’s starting to look a lot like… project completion at SEGRO Centre Kentish Town🎄🚀🏭 Our refurbishment pipeline at SEGRO plc is vast and we take a long term view to future proof our assets by committing to top sustainability standards, quality and building materials, giving our customers the best space to thrive and grow their businesses. Whilst we have shouted about bringing the first 5 BREEAM Outstanding industrial RFOs (globally) to market over the past year, little known are some of our more challenging projects! SEGRO Centre Kentish Town has been one of those. However following a challenging spell seeking various Network Rail approvals the end is in sight! This 100 year old archway property is ideally located within the heart of Camden and in Zone 2 - it’s super connected and boasts the widest loading doors on the market, at 10m! Due to complete at the end of March - this refurb has been a labour of love (and probably the longest refurb programme of any shed out there). Depuis plusieurs années, SEGRO installe et entretient des ruches sur ses sites en collaboration avec le Groupe MUGO - Paysage | Cultures | Biodiversité, contribuant ainsi à la préservation de la biodiversité et à la pollinisation des écosystèmes environnants. 🍯 En 2024, 407.5 kg de miel issus de nos ruches ont été récoltés, soit 1 630 pots produits et distribués à nos clients locataires et partenaires. Cette production 100 % #MadeinFrance témoigne de l’équilibre que nous cherchons à préserver entre activité économique locale et respect du vivant. In partnership with SEGRO plc, Groundwork South have completed another Green Skills Team in #Slough; a 6 week programme in which unemployed individuals developed practical conservation and employability skills equipping them for employment in the green sector https://lnkd.in/e6Xqzzm5 This was their most successful course to date achieving green space improvements at nine different sites in #Slough including parks, woodlands, grasslands & allotments and skilling up the trainees for green jobs https://lnkd.in/ep7eXG6w

🚆 Watch Now: Our Project Director Graeme Howard on Installing a 6,000-Tonne Underbridge at SEGRO Logistics Park, Radlett! 🎥 From constructing the huge concrete underbridge on behalf of SEGRO, to moving it in to place beneath the Midland Main Line during an incredibly tight timeframe, the project required precision planning, technical expertise, and a unique cabling system to slide the structure seamlessly into position. 📢 Hear from Graeme and learn more about how we achieved this milestone, working with client SEGRO plc and key stakeholders. This first phase is a key part of the Radlett Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI), a project set to boost the local economy and enhance the UK’s supply chain. 👏A huge well done to everyone involved in delivering this incredible achievement!
