Introducing the Friends of Serve and Protect Community Fund 🎉 The Community Fund supports initiatives for welfare support, grants or sponsorship which are for the greater good and benefit of the Serve and Protect community. The Community Fund recently supported an initiative within London Fire Brigade to remember a former colleague... "We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Friends of Serve and Protect Community Fund, which we will use to create a Memorial Garden in memory of our colleague, Barrie. The garden will be a peaceful place for firefighters to relax and reflect, and is much needed at our busy two pump station. We hope this peaceful place will encourage firefighters to talk about their feelings and worries, and to reach out for help when they need it." - Hannah Gould, London Fire Brigade.
