Our Community Choir have been getting into the festive spirit in recent weeks! Not only did they put on a wonderful festive concert at their very own Hagley Road Village, but some members also travelled across to ExtraCare Solihull Retirement Village over the weekend to lead their residents in some carol singing at a village open day. Both concerts brought smiles to everyone's faces, not just the choir members but also the audience, which included fellow residents, families, and village staff who joined in with some of the festive hymns and carols 🎶

Reading as Part of our Safeguarding Provision 💡 The recent annual report from Renaissance, which has been carried out since 2005 and surveyed over 64,000 children between the ages of 8 and 18, showed that the number of those who choose to read daily in their free time, and those who stated that they enjoyed reading (either at school or at home) decreased. Education Adviser, Emma Mudge, explores the importance of reading in both the safeguarding curriculum and overall safeguarding provision in her recent blog 👉 https://lnkd.in/eZx-Kds4 #SafeguardingInSchools #SafeguardingProvision
