This is how we consistently deliver smarter, more efficient ways to tackle our clients’ most complex challenges. We strive to provide certainty and comfort to our clients that they are in control of not only the budget and cost but also the timing. The processes, tools, technology and training we have in place enable this to happen across the whole business.

🚨 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆'𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁 🚨 On 18 December, Germany adopted the Financial Market Digitalisation Act (FinmadiG). This significant legislation aligns with the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Regulation (DORA) and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), reinforcing Germany's position in the digital finance sector. Despite recent political challenges, the passage of FinmadiG underscores Germany's dedication to digital resilience and innovation. It grants BaFin and the Bundesbank the authority to enforce DORA, while the new Crypto Markets Supervision Act (KMAG) harmonizes crypto-asset regulations, providing a streamlined licensing process for Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs). For a comprehensive understanding of FinmadiG's impact, read the full analysis by Christopher Götz, LL.M. (New York) and Jochen Kindermann, on our website: https://lnkd.in/eXHXU6jk #DigitalFinance #FinmadiG #DORA #MiCAR #CryptoAssets

We're thrilled to announce a major victory in the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) for BT, represented by Patrick Boylan, Eleanore Di Claudio, Alice Lauterjung, Josh Farquharson, Vanessa Sharman, Anna Crellin, and Rachel Malloch. The case, Justin Le Patourel v BT, is notable as the first opt-out competition collective action to go to trial in the UK, with the CAT dismissing a claim exceeding £1.3bn against BT. In our article, we delve into the critical aspects of the case, including the CAT's approach to assessing fairness and economic value, which led to this favourable outcome. We also explore the implications for future excessive pricing cases and the broader UK collective actions regime. This victory not only highlights our commitment to excellence but also sets a precedent in competition law. Read our article for an in-depth analysis of this landmark case: https://lnkd.in/e_Vk-KhE
