And so our evolution continues at Sirdar, with the introduction of our first sustainable yarn family, Loveful. The new ranges represent our wish to offer a more environmentally conscious knit & crochet experience, whilst continuing to offer the same great value for money as our core ranges. The initial ranges focus on waste production fibres, spun into beautiful tweed and plain yarns, they come with recycled paper ball-bands and the patterns are printed on carbon capture assured paper. All this great news for the environment, but never compromising on quality. Here at Sirdar, we know about market leading design and fashion for the handknitting and crochet market, we've been doing it for decades. It's a serious process; from initial briefs to sketches, yarn and colour choices, pattern writing, checking (3 times), knitting, piecing together, photoshoots and laying up the patterns and images ready for printing. It's something we pride ourselves on and it's the reason our knitters, crocheters and retailers use our products, because we still believe all of these processes are worth doing well. Our recent shoot is just in, we've focussed on kids garments that kids would like to wear.
