We’re so proud of our team for making a difference in the community! Well done Claire! Claire Mason spent her SJS volunteering day with LoveWell UK, an amazing charity that supports women in the area who have experienced significant trauma through trafficking and exploitation and trains and supports them back into employment. Claire spent the day selling the luxury skincare products made by the women, sharing LoveWell’s story, and raising vital funds. Truly inspiring! I spent my SJS Recruitment volunteering day with the absolutely inspiring charity LoveWell UK. Run by women for women, this is a small social enterprise with a huge heart. Bristol-based, LoveWell helps women in the area who have experienced significant trauma through trafficking and exploitation and trains and supports them back into employment. Alongside emotional support, the women are provided with 1-2-1 mentoring to help with practical skills such as how and where to look for a suitable job, writing a CV, and interview advice. We spent the day selling the luxury natural skincare products the women make as part of the programme, talking to people about the life-changing work the charity does, and raising vital funds to help them to continue. Hand-on-heart, it was inspiring to spend the day with Claire Dormand and hear more about the amazing work they do.
