Last week, Speckle's Nikos Argyros led a three-day workshop with students from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia "Master in AI" program. ✅ The workshop focused on #BIMdata extraction from host apps using #Speckle. ✅ The students explore Speckle REST, GQL APIs and the Speckle Python SDK. ✅ By the end of the workshop, they had the opportunity to build a full-stack app, applying all their learnings in combination with Speckle’s open-source 3D Viewer. ✅ The final project was a custom product library with data analytics and metrics for each product. MEP on the beach - using the AEC tool of the future Speckle and Gendo for AI renders! All because I want to win some socks from Speckle... (for real) 1. AI Rendering Competition I saw a post a week ago and decided to participate myself. (this one: https://lnkd.in/ehjQZXkQ) Why? Because I realized I can test Speckle and hone my AI rendering skills for free. 2. Opened a Free Speckle Account Speckle is the data connectivity hub of the AEC. It essentially allows you to work in ANY app (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.) and work on the SAME project with your colleagues. And their new partnership with Gendo also allows you to create great AI renderings right within the app. 3. Gendo AI Rendering Is a great app for creating visuals, and they are giving away 7200 AI renders to the winner of the competition. The post here: https://lnkd.in/ehjQZXkQ 4. ChatGPT Prompt Refining I used the king of AI apps to refine my prompts right for Gendo and Speckle. And I submitted the 'MEP on the beach' rendering I was most happy with!
