The next chapter of power generation in Ireland is here💡   We have taken final investment decision to build Tarbert Next Generation Power Station in County Kerry, opening a new chapter in the site's proud history.    Running on 100% sustainable biofuels, the 300MW site will have the potential to convert to hydrogen, laying the foundations for a #lowcarbon future in Ireland.

Carbon capture has a critical role to play in delivering a clean power system - and the Green Industrial Partnership announced between the UK and Norway can help to accelerate its deployment, boosting economic growth and supporting a just transition.

Have you ever wondered what it looks like to see a project build from start to finish ?   Our Slough Multifuel facility has the capability to process around 480,000 tonnes of residual waste each year and convert this into a valuable source of energy♻️   The project was a joint partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and developed by Hitachi Zosen Inova and entered commercial operations earlier this year.     Check out our video below! 📽️

The UK Government has published a new Clean Power Action Plan to protect households and boost the economic growth of clean energy. The plan is welcomed, especially as it aims to unlock £40billion of investment a year in clean power. But we need to act now. To deliver a cleaner, more secure power system for Britain we urgently need to get building clean energy infrastructure on an unprecedented scale. This will require a bolder and more decisive approach from the Government and from regulatory bodies to remove the barriers to development and to back the technologies we need. Today’s plan provides important further clarity on how this will be done, and the pace at which it has been developed is particularly welcome. We need this urgency to continue. With £40bn of capital investment needed per year, the key thing now is to help derisk that investment in order to minimise costs. That's why we've partnered with Siemens Energy on Mission H2 Power - a collaboration which aims to deliver gas turbine technology capable of running on 100% hydrogen by 2030, fuelling the transition to net zero.
