To commemorate 40 years of St. Rocco’s, our supporters have been sharing some lovely memories with us. Kathryn’s father, William Maurice Wright was hesitant to visit the hospice after his diagnosis, even just for the afternoon. Eventually, with the persuasion of his family and help of his district nurse, William began going for the day, and after his first visit was so full of praise for St. Rocco’s and their staff, even looking forward to his next visits and eventually his stay at the hospice towards the end of his life. At St. Rocco’s, we are here to support those diagnosed with a life-limiting illness through our care within the Hospice and amongst the Warrington Community, we have a 10 bed Inpatient Unit and offer a range of services through our Integrated Palliative Care Hub and Medical Outpatient Unit. We also support individuals and their families through Counselling and Bereavement, Complementary Therapies and Physiotherapy.
