Our installation team has been busy continuing to work on NORTHERN MONK's external cellar expansion. We're lucky to have an amazing team of pipe fitters, welders, and electricians at SSV Limited who enable us to take each project from design to reality, delivering installations to the highest standards. Over the past fortnight, the team on site at NORTHERN MONK have been busy connecting the new set of tanks to the existing external cellar, ensuring seamless integration. They've also started the monumental task of wiring up each tank's sensors and components; a job that takes metres of wires, a lot of patience, and hundreds of cable ties to keep it all neat and tidy. Once complete, every brew will be carefully monitored and controlled via an internal system, providing precision and efficiency at every stage. We're so honoured to be working with NORTHERN MONK on this expansion and cannot wait to move onto the next stage - commissioning!

We’re delighted to have worked with the amazing team behind Changing Times Brewery; founded by Shane Long, Benny McCabe, and the families behind some of Dublin’s best-known pubs. Last year, we installed their fully turnkey 20HL Brew-Bloc4, complete with a wort pre-cooler, vapour heat recovery unit, 8-tank cellar, steam generator, and dry goods system. Now brewing independently, they’re crafting some truly impressive beers. At the start of this year, our commissioning brewer, Edina Bálint, visited Dublin to check on performance, address any snagging issues, and ensure everything was running smoothly. Imagine our surprise when tuning into BBC's Inside the Factory last night to see the Curious Brewery brewhouse that we installed back in March 2019! During their highlight of Warburtons production, they headed to Kent to catch up with Toast Brewing, who brew on the 50HL BrewBloc5, turning surplus bread into beer. Not only was it fantastic to learn more about the processes for both companies but it was great to see the vessels in all their glory.

We've had the absolute honour of working with Signature Brew over the years. From the initial install of their 32HL Brew-Bloc4 in 2019, to helping them grow, expanding their tank cellar inside and installing the external cellar in 2021. It was great to catch up with the team at the end of last year, hear their feedback on the equipment, and continue to improve our after-care services. First brews are always exciting for the teams involved - not just at the breweries we have the pleasure of working with but also for our Project Managers and designers. It's an opportunity for us to not only see the install in action but to ensure everything is working as planned. This particular project has been in the works for almost 2 years, taking this brewery from grain to cask. We've installed dry goods, packaging, cellar, a yeast storage and propagation plant, processing, which includes high gravity blending, inline carbonation and nitrogenation, DAL plant, centrifuge, finings addition, and finally, a fully automatic 100HL BrewBloc4 with full energy recovery. It has been phenomenal to see the kit up and running before the end of the year. We'll be returning in January for fine tuning to ensure this brewery continues to run smoothly, setting up a maintenance schedule and after-care.
