Formed in 2010 with 333 pubs, Stonegate Group has grown bigger and better than ever, and today we’re home to well-loved sites such as Slug & Lettuce, Be At One, Walkabout, Popworld and so many more. But we didn’t get where we are just with great drinks and unforgettable experiences. This week, myself and the Stonegate Group Operating Board took over Off the Wall in Chester, as the team headed out on a well-deserved day out – but not before leaving us a bingo sheet full of challenges to complete… From changing a barrel, to getting a five-star review, Nick Marks Tim Painter Dave Ross Claire Harris Daniel Wilkinson Lee Reed Frazer Grimbleby Carol Campbell and James Metcalfe all took it all in their stride (well kind of…🤣), as they familiarised themselves with the kitchen and bar and gave every guest the warmest welcome! We make far better decisions by being closer to our team and our guests and this is just one of the ways that we are doing that. A pub company can’t be run from a boardroom, it’s what happens in our pubs, bars and venues that truly matters. Getting back to the floor reinforces how incredibly hard our brilliant teams work, and we hope our colleagues at Off the Wall enjoyed their day out as much as the board enjoyed working their shifts! #StonegateGroup #BringingPeopleTogether

A huge congratulations to our Stonegate Pub Partners Southwest division, who have raised over £9,000 for Breast Cancer Now, after our colleague, Sally, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Initially pledging to fundraise £1,000, the team have smashed their goal after completing the Cardiff Half Marathon and other fundraising activities. They’re not stopping there, either – with their sights set on a £15,000 fundraising goal in 2025 🏆 What a fantastic example of bringing people together from across the business to support an incredible charity and beloved colleague. Now that’s what we call a GRAND SLAM! 🔥👏🍹 You might have heard that the World Flair Association final took place at our Be At One Regent Street last week! There were hundreds of people in attendance at the final to watch 25 of the world’s best flair bartenders battle it out to be crowned the champion! 👑 A massive shout out to our very own Xavier Delle Cave and Lorenzo Costanzo who did us proud with their fantastic performances. Be At One Cocktail Bars Chester opened its doors last weekend! 🎉 Taking over a stunning Grade-I listed building on Watergate Street, the venue marks Be At One’s 41st opening - and there’s no better place than in the city’s ‘Cocktail Quarter’!🍸 In classic Be At One style, the venue opened with a bang. Which of course involved plenty of ice-throwing, light-swinging and high-energy shenanigans. We’re wishing the team in Chester the best of luck! 🥂
