Steve Harper has been appointed SIB’s new CEO and will take up the role in January 2025. He is joining SIB from Invest Northern Ireland where he is the Executive Director of International Business and Skills. Steve will take over from SIB’s outgoing Chief Executive, Brett Hannam, who is retiring after almost 20 years with the organisation.   Steve’s current responsibilities with Invest NI include facilitating inward investment and assisting companies in Northern Ireland in forecasting and meeting future skills requirements. On a day-to-day basis, the Waste Specialist will report to a Project Board, comprised of the key stakeholders.
