Starting this month on a high note with our ops meeting taking place in Leeds! We spent two productive days with the My Life team Unlock My Life diving into all things operations, wellbeing, and creating the team reels you love. Exciting updates are to come in the not too distant future - tuned! 👀

💚Mental Health Awareness Week Recap💚 Last week was busy and definitely kept our team in theme with movement. We spent the first part of the week Suffolk New College supporting our Mental Health Ambassadors on the Tuesday as they made their debut to the college telling their staff and peers about all the work they have done! On Wednesday we then attended their ‘Next Steps Careers Progression Fair’ where we spoke to many students and staff members about what we have planned for September 2024 (watch this space) Thursday we spent our time at Debenham High School supporting their very keen and passionate Year 7 & 8s put on a ‘seize the moment, find your movement’ event in their drama studio! It was a huge success! They have just dance on the screen, a hula hoop competition, a stacking cups competition and a football score competition! We can’t wait to see what those Year 7 & 8s bring come September 2024 after they have been trained! Friday we supported our sister project Unlock My Life at HMP Hollesley Bay Prison for their wellbeing day! They had some amazing organisations there who highlighted to the guys their alternative therapies such as plant therapy, and pet therapy with dogs, goats and chickens! We got so many new sign-ups for our Mental Health and Wellbeing Training there. It was a truly heartwarming day! It has been a busy month deliverng our Mental Health and Wellbeing Training to just under 320 students 💚 This week our Project Coordinator Phoebe Cheung delivered our training to HADLEIGH HIGH SCHOOL Year 9s Some amazing feedback from the students at Hadleigh High reassuring us that this is what we do what we do!
