First previewed in Los Angeles in 2022 and at Chatsworth House in 2023, Toogood’s Assemblage 7 makes its New York premiere, with new additions to the body of work. Showing her intimate process in a new light, Toogood uncovers new dimensions by poetically transforming her chosen materials, Purbeck marble and European oak, into pieces that capture and convey the essence of time. SFF25 — less than 1 month left!   Stockholm Furniture Fair 2025 is dedicated to the cross cultural landscape of design, merging design influences from all creative fields, including fashion, artisan craft and architecture.   This year's fair brings big ideas, a remarkable line-up of exhibitors, cutting-edge installations, exhibitions, and a talks programme addressing today’s most pressing matters. We have a bar in each hall, designed by Emma Olbers, All Matters Studio and Fyra. Fyra has created Paper Bar, which also includes the stage area for our talks programme featuring Faye Toogood, Ini Archibong, Ineke Hans, Schemata Architects, Snøhetta and more. Most of this year's exhibitions, workshops and talks address key challenges facing the industry; such as sustainability and circular solutions, the preservation and recreation of architecture, how AI is revolutionizing the design process, and the significance of craft and cultural exploration in creating design for the future.   As every year, we host design schools and graduates in Greenhouse, independent makers and galleries in the exhibition Älvsjö Gård, as well as a string of vibrant first-time exhibitors in the New Ventures area. We are also proud to welcome Faye TOOGOOD as our 20th Guest of Honour. WOMANIFESTO! is a surrealist re-assemblage of the TOOGOOD archive, capturing the spirit that Faye Toogood is taking into the future. Past collaborations are revisited and collaged with site-specific, ephemeral artworks and reinvented Toogood icons. “My work always ends up autobiographical. A lot of the things I’ve created this year seem to be about what it means to inhabit a body. And what that means personally for me: an artist inhabiting a female body that is changing. The latest iteration of Paris’s design fair, MAISON&OBJET 2025, is a luminous feast of invention and imagination, with dreamlike weirdness and wonder jostling on the creative stage. Surrealism is the theme of the forthcoming annual event. In the spirit of shedding light on this most elusive of subjects, the exhibition has called on leading luminary Faye Toogood, in the guise of Designer of the Year, to interpret the famously sticky theme.
