What an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture from the 3rd Frimley Rainbows and 6th Frimley Brownies! This term, they have been focusing on the theme "Take Action," and as part of their initiative, they held a Community Action evening where they created delightful Christmas Bags. Each bag contains a lovingly coloured Christmas card addressed "To Someone Special," a soap, and a flannel. The Rainbow Promise encourages them to do their best and to be kind and helpful, while the Brownie Promise commits them to serving the community and helping others. By making these wonderful bags, they have certainly lived up to their promises. These bags will be distributed to some of our older residents who live alone and find it difficult to get out and about. Each of these residents is visited once a week by one of our amazing Surrey Heath Age Concern "Befriending Volunteers" and next week will be receiving this special little gift. We are truly grateful for the Rainbows' and Brownies' dedication to making a difference and spreading holiday cheer. Their actions have brought warmth and joy to many hearts, showcasing the true spirit of the season. A big thank you to Karen Sutherland the Unit Leader and of course to the 3rd Frimley Rainbows and 6th Frimley Brownies for your incredible support and generosity. Your efforts have made a meaningful impact on our community!

A few weeks ago I put the post below on all our social media channels, I am now thrilled to say our wish came true thanks to the wonderful pupils and Teachers from Y7 at Immanuel College. Over 300 Christmas cards are on their way! All Y7 students were invited to write a Christmas card for an elderly person living 220 miles away in Surrey for a charity campaign with Surrey Heath Age Concern CIO to enable as many elderly people as possible to receive a Christmas card. Well done and thank you Y7, there were some extremely thoughtful messages written. Our “Thank you” letter is on route to them as we speak…
