There are lots of words of wisdom in this film we produced for Anna Thame (MCIM FRSA) over the summer as part of a series to support her work as facilitator and communications professional.
The other day, I heard the words "teacher", "presenter" and "facilitator" all used interchangeably, as if they were the same. While they have things in common, they are different. It strikes me that facilitation can be used in all aspects of our working lives, and definitely not just in the "classroom." Maybe we need to approach work in a way that is closer to facilitation? Pondering this idea, I've created a series of short films exploring facilitation skills, made with the kind support of skilled filmmaker Jill Sainsbury of Switched-on Multimedia Here's the first one.

As Laila is never in the same place from one day to the next, Jill caught up with her on the mainline train to London.

Rather than feel despondent first time author and experienced human resources consultant Jill Aburrow could soon see that those small edits made it even better. What’s more her book ‘Redundancy with Love’ turned out to be better than any business card which she told our Jill (Sainsbury) over a drink in the pub.
