We are extremely proud to share the news, Janie Frampton OBE DL has been appointed as Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset. Her first appointment in the role was to attend a 40-year commemoration on behalf of the Lord Lieutenant, for Police Constable Yvonne Fletcher, 25, who was killed whilst on active duty at the Libyan Embassy in London. A beautiful memorial was unveiled in her memory in Shaftsbury where Yvonne went to school.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be speaking at the Spanish Football Business Conference! This is an incredible opportunity to discuss how far Women’s Football has come and how important is it for women to have access to all sectors of the game, and what can be done to furthers support grassroots and women’s teams and clubs. Also, there will be a discussion around what are the top things that need to change to support and promote women in football, perhaps you can share your thoughts and ideas. #SportsLeadership #Football #SportsOfficials #Community #IntegrityInSports

Another busy week for Janie Frampton OBE DL and TEAMYou, starting with a great meeting with Harun Rabbani showing me how to effortlessly expand my network to include even more amazing people. My thanks to Natalie Whittlesey for inviting me to be guest speaker for Womenwise<rise> women’s breakfast networking event with great takeaways such as “We raise other women as we climb” we squeezed in a quick podcast before my next meeting with Harmesh Singh Pooni from SME Outsourcing to discuss the needs of those involved in professional sport. On to @Ernest Young to meet with Kate Timms to discuss the skills gap of young people and Women’s Leadership, followed by a great women’s Club dinner attended by women at the top of their professions from different sectors, thank you for inviting me, I really enjoyed the discussions around the table especially the in-depth information shared on AI. Next was a meeting at The House of Lord's with Baroness Shaista Gohir OBE where we shared ideas on how we could best support Muslim Girls and Women especially in the sport sector. When we’re not running around attending these fantastic meetings, we are working hard on the development of leadership modules for World Rugby, so pleased when the weekend arrived, and we could slow down a little and prepare for a new week, exciting times for sure. #inspirational #femalespeakers #diversityandinclusion #diversity #LeadershipSkills #leadership #muslim #muslimgirls #muslimgirlsandwomen #worldrugby
