  • Does your university’s wellbeing support reach the students who need it most? Too often, critical wellbeing resources get lost in the noise—posters on notice boards, emails left unread, and presentations that fade into the background. A recent study found that 60% of university students are unaware of the resources available to them. This disconnect creates barriers to accessing support, leaving students unsupported and programs underutilized. At Tech Balance, we believe wellbeing programs shouldn’t just exist. That’s one of the reasons we created the Balance app—a more effective and cost-efficient alternative to traditional outreach. Balance simplifies access to support, helping students: ✅ Discover the right support tools tailored to their needs ✅ Engage proactively with your wellbeing resources ✅ Feel empowered to reach out when it matters most For universities, Balance: ✔️ Reduces outreach inefficiencies ✔️ Enhances engagement without added cost ✔️ Lets staff focus on delivering exceptional support Let’s ensure your wellbeing efforts make the impact they’re designed for. Ready to see Balance in action? Contact us to see how we can make your support reach the students who need it most.

  • 44% of university students struggle to understand their own emotions. Even the most effective outreach and most expansive programs are being undermined by a critical blind spot: student emotional awareness. This lack of emotional understanding renders students less able to identify stress, articulate their feelings, seek help, and ill-equipped to take advantage of existing resources. If students find it hard to understand how they feel, why would we expect them to reach out? No amount of emailing, posters, or advertising of availability can educate a student on themselves. This disconnect has led to an epidemic of costly, underutilised wellbeing programs and stressed-out students that aren't seeking the support they need. At Tech Balance, we’re addressing this blind spot with the Balance: Student Wellbeing app—a simple and efficient way to increase emotional awareness. By simply using our daily mood check-in, students can visualise their emotions, identify trends and stressors, and actively work to address them. Looking to address these blind spots on your campus? Connect with us to learn more!
