I'm thrilled to say that I successfully completed the Women in Tech SEO mentorship program as a first-time mentee! The program is wonderfully structured for meeting SEO professionals, gaining new experiences, and definitely enhancing both personal and professional skillsets. A huge thanks to Sakiina Te Beest , an outstanding mentor and wonderful person, whose extensive SEO knowledge and calm, understanding nature played a major role in making my experience so positive.

Hi, community! I’d love to share that I’ve graduated from the WTS mentorship program, and I want to give a big thank-you to my amazing mentor, Josephine Rudolf. For anyone considering applying to the next cohort: do it! What should you know before applying? Should you have a clear goal when you sign up for mentoring, stick to that goal, and come prepared for every mentorship session? Well, that wasn’t exactly the case for me. My goals shifted after applying, then shifted again before the mentorship started, and changed even more after I began working with Josie. Sometimes, I just showed up for the sessions without a clear plan. I was fortunate enough (as I believe everyone in this community will be) to be met with understanding and acceptance. Sometimes, the timing isn’t right, and that’s okay—it’s important to give yourself grace and let things unfold naturally. There are things in life that give you energy and others that drain it. Be mindful of this little self-care “menu” when reflecting on your goals. Also, know that this program is an open and safe space to recharge your energy. Women in Tech SEO community is a place where your efforts are appreciated, and where you’ll always find new but incredibly friendly faces! Thanks for making this happen Areej AbuAli! 🩵
