Driving skills to save more lives 🚑 Teesside Medics Emily and Curtis have expanded their driving skillsets at CIPHER Medical The Stockton-based firm have helped their staff through lifeline courses with the help of Combined Authority funding - allowing heir crews to stay fresher on the front line when saving lives. Station Bridge lift ✅ Network Rail teams worked around the clock over the weekend to successfully install the new bridge serving Darlington Station's two new platforms 🕑 The steel bridge will serve the new gateway entrance hall as part of the £140m overhaul supported by TVCA, Darlington Borough Council and London North Eastern Railway 🚂 The project is on track to be complete before the end of 2025 🗓 See more in the video here ➡

We were delighted to lead a event at Manor Academy in Hartlepool as part of National Apprenticeship Week. Students heard inspiring stories from local apprentices and businesses while learning about the range of career pathways on offer. The event was led by the Combined Authority’s Tees Valley Careers Hub and the Careers and Enterprise Company, in collaboration with the ASK programme and the Apprentice Ambassador Network. More than 200 Year 10 students took part in an apprenticeship awareness assembly delivered by ASK which gave information about apprenticeships, including the various levels and how to apply. Students also took part involved in a series of interactive workshops with apprentices and firms.
