This year marked 25 years since our journey began, and what a journey it’s been! 🎉 25 Years of Service: We celebrated our silver anniversary with a historic giveaway of 600 Hop-on Hop-off tickets on 24 May. 🌟 New Experiences: * Introduced our 2-day Hop-on Hop-off tickets for even more river adventures. * Opened Clipper Lounge EMB at Embankment Pier, offering a cosy space to relax before your boat ride. * Launched the River Guide, your go-to for discovering London’s best-hidden gems and must-visit spots along the Thames. ⚓ Fleet Innovations: * Welcomed Mars Clipper, our third groundbreaking hybrid vessels, reducing CO2e emissions by almost 90%. * Announced the UK’s first fully electric cross-river passenger ferry, Orbit Clipper, coming in March 2025. 🎭 Onboard Fun: * Hosted our first-ever Comedy Night, bringing laughter to the Thames (and more to come!). * Partnered with Sofar Sounds for two incredible events onboard, where we discovered amazing new and upcoming musicians in an unforgettable setting. 🌊 Collaborations: Partnered with Disney’s Moana 2 to celebrate the film’s release, sharing the adventure with 25 lucky prize winners. We are very excited to announce a groundbreaking milestone for Uber Boat by Thames Clippers : in March 2025, we will launch the UK's first fully electric, zero-emission cross-river passenger ferry, Orbit Clipper. Yesterday, our CEO Sean Collins and COO Geoff Symonds visited Wight Shipyard Co. on the Isle of Wight, where this state-of-the-art vessel is being built. Seeing Orbit Clipper taking shape is truly inspiring—it represents a giant leap forward in sustainable urban transport.
