This post has to start with me having to shamefully admit that I have not been fully utilising the 2 paid volunteering days UPP give employees every year! So I took the opportunity to join our Partnerships Team when they said they had a few spaces for their TCV team volunteering day & I'm so glad I did as what a great day we all had! It was hard work and in an environment I normally avoid due to previously being arachnaphobic but was so pleased I could get fully involved in the outdoor jobs, with surprisingly no spiders in sight, but there were lots of other nature around us and lovely locals who stopped and chatted! The Conservation Volunteers said they couldn't do it without groups of volunteers & they're always looking for help throughout the year at their various sites if this is something that appeals to you! Now to decide where to volunteer next! #JoinInFeelGood #MakeADifference #LoveWhatYouDo
