We are hiring an Operations and Compliance Manager based in London and reporting to Dale Petrie, Chief Operating Officer at The Development Guarantee Group (DGG). This role is responsible for supporting with planning, organising and managing all aspects of the delivery and operations for DGG and each of its guarantors including the Green Guarantee Company, Nautilus, the Blue Guarantee Company and a new MSME guarantor. The Operations and Compliance Manager will also be responsible for ensuring operational and regulatory risks across the business are properly managed, and that DGG and its guarantors adhere to internal policies. We are open to part-time applications for this role. The Development Guarantee Group is proud to work together with the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance developing Nautilus, the blue guarantee company, to de-risk investments for a regenerative and sustainable blue economy through innovative guarantees. It was a pleasure to join the Sea Change Impact Financing Facility (SCIFF) team meeting to identify opportunities for future collaboration. Despite the critical role oceans play, SDG 14 (Life below water) remains one of the least funded SDGs. We are hiring a Portfolio Manager for the The Development Guarantee Group's new MSME guarantor based in London reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer, Christopher B.. The Portfolio Management team within DGG is responsible for building guarantee portfolios which are aligned to the guarantor’s stated objectives. For the new MSME guarantor, this is to provide investment grade guarantees to alternative finance institutions to increase the amount of financing they can extend to eligible MSMEs, particularly those which are female led and/or focused on the green economy, in MENA and Eastern Europe that are looking to scale. The MSME guarantor will offer debt guarantees to a diverse range of alternative finance providers, including fintechs. The company aims to enable MSMEs seeking debt capital to scale innovative business models, enhance their access to sustainable debt financing and promote greater financial inclusion.
