Our young people are at the heart of anything we do at The Hive Youth Zone, Wirral, and our Hive Heroes fundraising initiative is no different. 🗓️Monday 10th March ⏰6pm - 8pm As part of raising vital funds for our Hive home, a collective of Hive Ambassadors are hosting a fun filled quiz night and you are all invited 💜 Open for teams of up to 6 people with an entry fee of £50, please come along and show your support either with your colleagues or friends and family. Hosted by our members, there will be performances from our junior dance troupe as well as lots of fun and frolics thrown in for good measure. The night will also allow a tangible insight into the magic that happens within our walls so we’d love to see you there. We’re thrilled to be part of a new partnership between the The Barratt Foundation and OnSide. This means even more support will filter though to our treasured members here at Wirral's youth zone 💜 With a focus on wellbeing and nutrition, this partnership will help us continue our mission of empowering young people to live healthy, happy lives where they can truly thrive. A recent study told us that Youth Zones support young people to feel free to have fun, to feel safe and to feel confident in themselves. Crucially, for every £1 of costs there was a return of over £13 of social value in terms of young peoples’ wellbeing. Investments like this allow us to exist as a sanctuary for children who need us most so a huge thank you to the Barratt Foundation for making this possible and for investing in local communities. A huge thank you to Brabners for organising the fantastic football tournament to raise funds for us as part of our Hive Heroes initiative ⚽👏 It was a brilliant event that brought together teams from across different sectors in the spirit of supporting young people in their local area. A special shout-out to Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited, who took home the tiniest trophy known to man with an impressive win 🏆 and to the other participating teams: Clear Cut Financial Planning , DSG Chartered Accountants, and NatWest – all of you made it a fun, competitive, and memorable afternoon for everyone involved. The Hive Youth Zone in Wirral is looking for a dedicated Trusts & Grants Fundraiser to join our fundraising team! 📍 Location: The Hive, Wirral Youth Zone 🕒 Hours: 40 per week (part-time considered) 💰 Pay: Circa £30,000 (dependent on experience) 📅 Contract: Permanent after 6-month probation 📈 Reporting to: Head of Fundraising At The Hive, we’re dedicated to providing a safe, inspiring space for young people (ages 8-19, up to 25 with disabilities) to grow, connect, and reach their potential. With our state-of-the-art facilities, including sports, arts, and recreational spaces, we create opportunities that transform lives. About the Role: This role is key to supporting our mission through effective fundraising. You’ll lead our Trust and Foundation applications, generating vital funds to keep our programs running and make a real impact on young lives. You’ll be responsible for bid writing, stakeholder partnerships, and supporting donor stewardship. What We’re Looking For: ✔️ Proven experience in trust and grant bid writing ✔️ Strong ability to develop funding applications and communicate complex information ✔️ Excellent written skills and attention to detail ✔️ A proactive team player with a positive “can do” attitude ✔️ Commitment to The Hive’s mission, values, and continuous improvement In return, you’ll join a supportive, close-knit team with access to training, an employee assistance program, and other benefits (including limited gym access onsite!).
