✨Christmas cheer to our Benedetta Tagliaferri✨ 2024 was a busy year for Benedetta Tagliaferri, our Diversity, Inclusion, and TIL+ Lead. She is about to complete an apprenticeship to become a professional coach, dedicating 445 hours to learning and 30 hours to 1-to-1 coaching. Excited to deepen her coaching expertise by working with the TIL team, she is ready to help people achieve any goal—from boosting confidence and public speaking to offering personal development and career advice—with her energetic, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable approach. As TIL+ founder and project leader, she is also thrilled to celebrate Germany joining the TIL+ journey along with the UK, US, and Ireland. 🌍✨ On a personal note, this year marks 10 years in London for Bene! She’s celebrating this milestone by getting her place in London 🏡 and starting to volunteer with Diversity Role Models. This charity helps schools and companies to embrace Diversity & Inclusion, with a focus on supporting LGBTQ+ people. 🌈 Happy Holidays, Bene! You are a true superstar! 🌟

🔦Spotlight on Serena P. 🔦 The Information Lab consultant and Tableau Ambassador brings her artistry and creativity to all her projects. When she joined TIL, she thought, "At first, it seemed surreal that there was a job that so perfectly combined my love of data with my love of art and creativity!" But who said that data has nothing to do with creativity? Creative thinking encourages analysts to ask "what if" questions, leading to the formulation of insightful hypotheses. Also, turning data into meaningful features requires creativity. Analysts might combine variables in new ways or create entirely new features to capture hidden patterns. #TableauAmbassador #CreativeData #DataArtistry And, of course, well-designed visualisations are appealing and aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the overall impact of the data story.
