The agenda for #langcatlive: Divide and Conquer is now available! That's right, it's an early Christmas present from the cats - more detail on the sessions (including the bonus SOTAN sessions!) and the speakers will be coming in the new year, but we are happy to say that it's shaping up to be a pretty good day... For more on all of the above and to join us at Kings Place in February, click on the link in the comments.

It’s the last #Update of 2024 but Mark Polson hasn’t quite managed to avoid all business chat. He’s reflecting on Vanguard’s recent changes to its platform fees, as well as the news that WASPI women won’t get a payout after all. “As you’ll no doubt have read, there is to be no bunce for what Gregg Wallace would doubtless call les femmes d’un certain âge if he were French, which he isn’t or at least isn’t as far as I know. That’s not important right now. What is important is that surely this is the best advert for retaining the services of a financial planner there has ever, ever been and any planning firm who isn’t buying billboards right now with “WE’D HAVE MADE SURE YOU KNEW” is missing a trick. It is also quite fun watching senior government ministers – irrespective of your politics – wriggle as they try to rationalise why they said one thing when in opposition and another in government.” Read the full #Update here: https://lnkd.in/ejya8JWz
