Last week all of us at The Nest escaped city life and headed into the Welsh hills for a couple of days of fresh air, lovely food and fun activities. Lots of fun was had! It's always lovely to spend time with the gang away from our desks. Big props to... Liam McNamee for the pizzas and sharp shooting (clay pigeons) Rosie P. for the raft design that kept her team dry (the same can't be said of all raft builders) Edd Bowsher for the expertly delivered Masquerade Murder Mystery (wasted in paid media, probably should have been some sort of party host) Olivia White for the world record orienteering pace (putting our SAS guide through his paces) Alasdair Burns for the fine dining (yes chef!) Kate Hallé for her relentless good humour and utter bravery in the face of enormous hairy, eight legged creatures (it was a massive spider to be fair)

We are really pleased to see Nectar360 sharing a case study of the amazing results we drove for a wine client earlier this year! With the rich shopper data available from Nectar, we created a Meta campaign focused on existing and lapsed customers, as well as targeting the highest potential prospecting audiences using a basket model. As the case study shows, the precision targeting and quality measurement available when working with shopper data partners allows us to drive, and measure, real life results for our FMCG clients. 🌿 Teamwork, sunshine, and a dash of Italian dining - what a day! Our team enjoyed a volunteer day at St Werburghs City Farm, working together to build the foundations of a stunning pond feature. Led by Alex, we were a well-oiled machine (we'd like to think!) Cafe Napolita provided a perfect break to refuel and reconnect - always a welcome treat. Loads of fun had on a team trip to Manchester last week, pitting ourselves against each other on the Chaos Karts race-track (great fun) followed by some serious team-work at The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience (smashed it!). Great to catch up with the good folk at Channel Factory and The Guardian whilst we were up there. Both experiences come highly recommended!

We're kicking off the new year with some exciting news - The Nest is now a full IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) member agency! We had previously been an Accelerator IPA member but have grown sufficiently over the last year to be accepted and ratified as a corporate member. We're approaching our 3rd birthday (in April) and we’re extremely proud of the team we’ve built and the impact we’ve been able to deliver on our clients' businesses across a relatively short period. Joining the IPA is key to the next stage of our growth plan. It will allow us to better develop our team's skills through the IPA’s courses and qualifications, better inform our strategic guidance through their resources & initiatives, and continue our focus on Effectiveness, one of our core company values.
