Last week, we were treated to an amazing lunchtime yoga session delivered by Dr Laura Copley - Senior Veterinary Surgeon & Graduate Development Lead at The Pet Vet Nottingham! Laura is the ultimate multitasker, as outside of working for The Pet Vet, she's also a fitness coach with her business LC Fitness! Laura tailored the class perfectly for all fitness levels and offered plenty of adaptations. Safe to say, we were all feeling zen afterwards! 🧘♀️ Thanks Laura! #thepetvet #lunchtimeyoga

Dr James Cook MRCVS, Head Vet at The Pet Vet Lincoln, is offering platelet-rich plasma therapy as a new orthobiologic treatment to support the treatment of pets with inflammatory conditions that affect joints, such as osteoarthritis. This is in the form of platelet-rich plasma injections, which involves using a pet’s own blood to reduce inflammation and prolong longevity of diseased joints. In addition to assisting in the treatment of inflammatory conditions, it can also support bone regeneration after a fracture. Here's a video of James talking through platelet-rich plasma therapy in more detail and how it can benefit pets. We're delighted to be able to offer this treatment. We've already received positive feedback from customers whose pets have been treated by James with platelet-rich plasma therapy. During December, each of our surgeries has set up a Christmas pet food donation station in their reception areas.
