ITT Mentor Conference - Save the Date! We're collaborating with our Eastern Region Teaching School Hubs to deliver our annual ITT Mentor Conference - and this year we're focusing on the journey of mentorship and the role mentors play in supporting trainees - tackling challenge and building resilience to promoting wellbeing for mentees and mentors. Saffron Teaching School Hub, Chafford Hundred South Essex Teaching School Hub, Unity Teaching School Hub and Essex County Council hosted a ‘Train to Teach in Essex’ event in Chelmsford on 2 December, along with representatives from the DfE. A powerful partnership for teacher recruitment! It was great to have so many local ITT providers there to support our future teachers. We're grateful to Beaulieu Park School for hosting. On Wednesday 27 November, the Dunmow Excellence in Education Partnership (DEEP) launched its new Initial Teacher Training programme with West Essex SCITT – a dynamic and innovative pathway into primary teaching.  This programme offers an opportunity to train and work locally while receiving exceptional support and mentorship across the ten schools in the DEEP network. What a night at the Cambridge Get into Teaching event at the Hilton hotel. Over 100 people attended. Amazing to meet so many people from all over east of England. Great to see Saffron Teaching School Hub , Unity Schools Partnership , Rachel Minett from Anglia Ruskin University , colleagues from Norfolk Teacher Training Centre, Faculty of Education , Lime Tree Primary Academy, CTSN SCITT , The Cambridge Partnership, The Active Learning Trust and many more. Looking forward to seeing all those applications coming in.
