Congratulations, Lincoln, Rob and Richard for completing the 737 EASA Type Rating renewal. Keeping current on both EASA and U.K. licences continues to be one of the challenges faced by pilots. Do you think the U.K. and EASA will come up with an agreement in the long term? #pilots #thesimguide #pilottraining #boeing737

About us
We specialise in training and checking professional pilots in the simulator with our well-trained and highly experienced instructors/examiners. Our highest priority is to create a friendly, relaxed and professional learning environment to enable you to perform at your very best and to achieve your goals. Let us guide you through the process and provide support throughout and help you return to the flight deck or land your first airline job. Covid has been a brutal time not just for our industry but for travel as a whole and pilots have been through a significant period of suffering both mentally and financially. This has placed huge pressure and burdens on families and home life as well as our identities and roles of being a pilot. You may have been forced into another job, falling back on an old profession, on lower pay in order to cover the bills. The revival is underway and now it is time to get you back to the flight deck and return to the office with unrivalled views of rivers and mountains. It’s time to dust off the cobwebs, brush up and rebuild your confidence to ace your next sim check or valuable airline sim assessment. We understand the stress this has caused and our instructors teach with empathy and a student focus to help you achieve your goals. We have teamed together with the best, like minded Instructors, Examiners and Senior Examiners from around Europe to provide training and checks at all levels from Type Ratings to TRE courses on multiple types and locations for EASA and UK CAA licences. By working under the umbrella of multiple ATO organisations we are able to provide the highest quality of services at a competitive price.

Some days Lady Luck smiles on you. Conducting base training in November when 2 days earlier the aircraft had diverted due to snow closure in the U.K. we chose the perfect day. Wind up the runway at 6kts and hardly a cloud in the sky. Every type I was the trainee for base training, I had 30kts of x-wind💨 great for the soul but cast iron constitution needed from the trainer 🤣 #pilottraining #flighttraining #pilots #thesimguide #boeing737

Another day in the sim with a line up of ATPL Skill tests - It has never been a better time to create your ideal career path. Airline recruitment over the winter is in full swing and some airlines are offering non-type rated Direct Entry Captain positions for the first time in their company history. Airlines are battling it out for the experienced pilots following the aggressive COVID recovery strategies, that lead to offering early retirement and redundancy pay offs. 3 years ago to the day, I wrote an encouraging post about how the BA holding pool was slowly disappearing, that we were pulling out of the pilot recession and would eventually reach a shortage. It sounded like a pipe dream to some and was laughed at by many. So articles like these are great to see and give pilots many career options 🙂 https://lnkd.in/eaNiwppm #737 #pilottraining #flighttraining #pilots #flightsim #airlines #pilotrecruitment

The Sim Guide reposted this
Sitting in the sim centre today on a weekend where the coffee area is rammed full of cadets and experienced pilots alike. It was time to reflect on how we have come such a long way in a short period of time. I couldn’t help but think of the tough Covid times where I saw many pilots and shared my thoughts on why it would all be over soon. ✈️ So with the Aviation Market Taking Off Again – How can you ensure you take advantage of the career with the company and location that suits you? ✈️ This week I have heard more stories of DEC in legacy carriers for non type rated pilots which we would have probably said was impossible until recently. But the good news and options for pilots will continue, here is why: Airlines scale up to meet demand, the need for qualified pilots is accelerating, and current estimates predict a significant shortfall in the next few years. 🚀 Post-pandemic rebound: With the aviation market growing faster than expected, training pipelines are struggling to keep pace. 👩✈️ Retirements: A large portion of the pilot workforce is nearing retirement, adding pressure on recruitment. 🌍 Global growth: Booming travel in emerging markets is intensifying the demand for skilled pilots. Choose the company and position on your terms which works best for you!!! We have more TRE and TRI courses this month and next, also we continue to upgrade frozen ATPL and conduct licence conversions EASA-UK and Uk-EASA For friendly advice or support please get in touch.
