This #InternationalMensDay we're highlighting the importance of men's urology health. When it comes to urology health, many men may believe common myths to explain away potentially significant symptoms. From changes in bathroom habits to unexpected changes ‘down there’, men’s urology health can be a bit of a mystery. From prostate cancer, testicular cancer and all urology cancers to bladder issues, erectile dysfunction and kidney stones, we’re urging males to recognise when something’s not right below the belt and ‘Be a legend’ – speak out to get help. Hear from our nurse, Helen Lake, about men’s urology health including the red flags to look out for and when to see your GP. Find the full video here: https://ow.ly/L36C50U9Ors And why not download our Busting Myths in Men’s Urology Health today: https://ow.ly/fMm750U9Oru #IMD2024 #InternationalMensDay2024

Our Chief Executive, Rebecca Porta, and Director of Communications and Policy, Laura Thorne, were delighted to attend yesterday's Big Cancer52 Conversation focused on health inequalities in rare and less common cancers. It was brilliant to hear from the incredible Prof. Bola Owolabi, MRCGP MFPH(Hon), FRSPH on the work she's doing to address health inequalities and from Professor Frank Chinegwundoh MBE on his important work. Very inspiring ideas and calls to action from all in attendance. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with the community to make real change and overcome health inequalities in rare and less common cancers. #BigCancer52Conversation #Urology
Yesterday's Big Cancer52 Conversation brought the rare and less common cancer community together to share knowledge and learnings to improve health inequalities. A massive thank you to our excellent speakers, panellists, and topic experts who all contributed to the success of our fourth #BigCancer52Conversation! As ever it was fantastic to see the collaborative drive and passion to move the dial on health inequalities in rare and less common cancers. We simply could not have done it without our sponsors, we are very grateful to AstraZeneca UK & Gilead Sciences UK & Ireland, as well as support from The National Lottery Community Fund, Level39 & Cancer Platform. (Our sponsors had no influence over the content of the event.)
