No one tells you how fkn difficult it is to 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 people when it's time to start outsourcing in your business. You have poured 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺, 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘺, 𝘶𝘨𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 into your business. Your head fills with catastrophic circumstances that could burn your baby to the ground. This is exactly how I felt at first... so I learned to do 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 myself. (except accounting, fk that, I can't do numbers to save my life) I digress. Learning a base level knowledge of ALL the skills I would eventually need to outsource, made me feel safer. If they fkd up, I could fix it. If they were suddenly unavailable, or on holiday, I could cope. When they quoted me for work, I had an idea of how long things would take and how much skill was required, so I knew if I was getting good value. And when it came to finding freelancers, I better understood what I needed from them, and could communicate it more effectively. Realising this is a big part of why I started The HoLT community. I wanted to give small business owners affordable access to learn those skills they needed, as well as a network of people who could advise them based on their own experiences, AND, when they're ready to outsource, they've got an expert for every skill at their fingertips. And I can smugly say, that is EXACTLY what happens within the community. It's honestly beautiful when you see an idea flourish into reality, and help hundreds people day after day. How did you find it when you started outsourcing, or are you still resisting because you struggle to trust people with your business? (Come on, be honest, this is a safe space 😜)
