The concept of sustainable learning and the leader's role in fostering service excellence really stood out to me. I particularly connected with the idea of "Be Do Have" and how gratitude can unlock potential. Learning how to coach effectively by focusing on the coachee's agenda, asking the right questions, and enabling accountability was a game-changer. The coaching model of ‘Goal, Options, Actions, and Commitment’ provided a clear framework for guiding meaningful conversations and fostering growth within teams. I am excited to apply these principles in my work to enhance team performance and client satisfaction.” 🗣 Vaishali Pai: “My AHA moment was on how to change hats between being a Manager and a Coach. The most useful nugget was how to conduct coaching ‘Share - Communicate - and LEAVE IT’ It is for the coachee to decide what to do with the support that is given." 🗣 Helen Altshul: “My AHA moment was the concept of "service minutes", to be aware of and document both the ‘good’ and ‘not-so-good’ experiences of client service and find a way to improve in future.” 🗣 Wendy Lessing: “My AHA moment was understanding the difference between performance feedback and coaching feedback. I learnt that when seeking input from people it is best not to use ‘WHY’ questions because it might evoke a feeling of defensiveness and distrust."   🗣 Mussa John Masongo: “The masterclass on client relationship building was truly eye-opening. I had no idea how much thought and strategy go into establishing and maintaining trust with clients. Understanding the dynamics of empathy, the importance of asking open questions, and adapting communication styles based on the client’s needs was a game-changer. This masterclass emphasised the power of accountability in ensuring that promises are kept, and progress is transparent. These insights will be invaluable in strengthening our client relationships and applying them in our work at TAHEA Mwanza. Thank you to Barry Davis and Dr. Carolyne A. How you design and build your website has a huge influence on your carbon footprint and overall sustainability. How you deliver your message greatly affects your ability influence people and create positive change. Small changes to both can make a big impact!
