Pleased to share that Thrive welcomed the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Richard Kemp, and Lady Mayoress Erica Kemp this morning during one of our group Employer Interview sessions with Marian Cotter. It was a great honour to share with them the work that we do at Thrive, and our care experienced young people were excited to meet and share experiences with the Lord Mayor. Thank you for coming to visit our space, what a positive way to start the week👏.

Huge thank you to James from MADM Academy for introducing the Digital Futures programme to our young people this afternoon. The programme offers great opportunities for digital skills development, pairing our young people with an employer suited to their specialism to offer mentoring and experience in the industry.

We close to the public today at 12pm for the Christmas break, re-opening on Monday 6th January 2025. We know that Christmas isn’t always the easiest time for some, and while we are closed over the festive period we wanted to make sure we had some support services in place for our young people or anyone who may be struggling. A huge thank you to all of our partners in 2024 for your amazing support, we look forward to seeing you in the New Year feeling hopefully refreshed and ready for an even better 2025.
